UPCOMING ZOOM EVENT:

AI and Machine Learning: What are the implications for college counseling centers? A community discussion.

Thursday, June 13 at 12pm EST

As our society grapples with the rise of “Artificial Intelligence” (e.g. Large Language Models and Machine Learning) college counseling leaders are dealing with their own concerns.

Join Kate Wolfe-Lyga and guest, Dr. Ben Locke, Chief Clinical Officer at Togetherall, for an exploration of the potential limitations and benefits of “AI”. During this program, Kate and Ben will provide a brief overview of the current role of LLMs in clinical practice and wellbeing today, then facilitate a large-group discussion.

College counseling leaders will also have a chance to explore the considerations of using LLMs to enhance clinical practice, better understand data and support client access to resources.

As a reminder: No recordings!  Join Kate and Ben live and bring your thoughts on the topic to engage in the large group discussion.

About BetterMynd’s College Counseling Leaders Discuss This Series:

BetterMynd is providing this space because we believe the role of college counseling leadership on campus is critical and irreplaceable in ensuring students receive the mental health support they need.

Through this recurring series, we want to deepen our existing campus relationships, create new ones, and learn from this community of professionals. No sales pitch (we promise), just Kate, community, and salient topics.
